Rob is a commercially focused executive leader with 15+ years’ experience building teams and scaling energy businesses through disciplined development and deal execution. He has held senior roles spanning network development and delivery at AusNet Services, strategy and transaction advisory at PwC, and capital markets exposure through the London Stock Exchange.


Rob has structured and negotiated bankable commercial frameworks for major Victorian 500 kV connection outcomes, including Stockyard Hill Wind Farm and Golden Plains Wind Farm, and has also led data-centre connection arrangements across Victoria. In aggregate, his work has enabled more than 5 GW of connection capacity over time, aligning developers, network planners, regulators and financiers around scope, schedule and risk allocation.

Having led grid connections and commercial negotiations for data centre operators, end users and energy generators, he brings a rare, end-to-end perspective bridging both the data centre and energy sectors, and the challenges and opportunities shaping their next phase.

He joins Celero following a seven-year tenure at Tilt Renewables — spanning Infratil's ownership through to the company's landmark acquisition by QIC, the Future Fund, and AGL — where he held successive leadership roles including Head of Corporate Finance, Head of Customer and Energy Markets, and Acting Chief Operating Officer. 


Most recently, Matt was at European developer OX2, further broadening his experience across the international clean energy landscape.


At Celero, Matt leads the company's financial strategy, capital structuring, and investor engagement as the platform scales.
